About the Team

The Mission

Sardinia Research and Development is a biotechnology spin-off company created in 2008. Our core people have expertise in infectious diseases; immunology and virology; bacteriology; and the genomics of infectious diseases. Activities include; research, target discovery, and product design services.

Our company conducts design, manufacture and marketing of products derived from research in the field of advanced biotechnology in biomedicine.

We provide research services to both public and private organizations, as well as to national and international companies and institutions.

We develop advanced diagnostic and therapeutic products for human and veterinary diseases. We define new diagnostic markers using techniques of molecular biology, proteins and nucleic acids for emerging and re-emerging diseases and the identification of agents of communicable diseases for diagnostic or epidemiological.

We also produce veterinary vaccines and monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, and develop bioinformatics services supporting research activities in biomedical applications.
